CHF is building a
much-needed stock of homes for developmentally disabled adults. Currently, CHF
owns 23 homes in the Inland Empire that house almost 90 adult consumers.

Each home is part of a
larger neighborhood, allowing four to five residents to live in a supportive
community environment. Many residents have jobs and/or attend school and other
day programs. CHF homes are built with the consumers in mind, and from the
outside look like every other home on the block. However, most are built to
withstand the challenging behaviors that some consumers bring to the home.

The homes are leased to and
operated by qualified healthcare providers selected by the Inland Regional
Center; with 24/7 Awake Staff to ensure that consumers are well-cared for and
safe.

CHF is looking to buy
and/or build more homes. The need for housing stock is growing as a result of
the aging population of home care-givers, and the planned closure of the State
Development Centers.
